Use Impact in AI apps
Ask an AI assistant about the economic calendar and it answers from Impact's data: when releases are scheduled, the actual, consensus and previous figures, past prints of a release, and Impact's measurements of how markets moved and how spreads widened when a release came out.
Facts, not advice. Impact's AI connector returns calendar facts and records of what happened in the past. It makes no predictions and recommends no trades, and the assistant's answers are not investment advice from Impact. See clause 2 of our Terms.
Who can use it
The AI connector is part of the paid Impact subscription. Sign in with the same account you use for the Impact app. If your account does not have an active subscription, the assistant will tell you so rather than show any data.
Connect Impact to Claude
- In Claude (on the web, desktop or mobile), open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Enter the name Impact and the URL
https://api.impact.dostumamigo.com/mcp. - Choose Connect. Claude opens Impact's sign-in page: sign in, then approve the connection. That's it.
Claude Code: run
claude mcp add --transport http impact https://api.impact.dostumamigo.com/mcp,
then type /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in.
The connector uses the open Model Context Protocol, and we are adding it to other AI apps.
Things to ask
- “What's on the economic calendar tomorrow?”
- “When is the next US jobs report, and what's the consensus?”
- “Show me the last 6 US CPI prints.”
- “How did markets react to the last US CPI release?”
- “How wide did gold spreads get at the last payrolls?”
What it covers
| You ask about | Coverage |
|---|---|
| The calendar: what is scheduled and what printed | Upcoming releases and the last 24 months, up to 14 days per question |
| Past prints of one release | Up to 24 prints, within the last 24 months |
| Market reaction and spreads | Releases from the last 90 days, available about 10 minutes after the release |
For anything older, use the Impact app, which has the full history. The connector can only read data: it cannot change your account or anything else.
Fair use
Each account has a daily allowance for AI-app requests, shared across all the AI apps you connect, and it resets at midnight UTC. It is set well above what a person asking questions will reach. Its purpose is to stop the connector being used to copy our data in bulk, which our Terms do not allow.
Privacy and disconnecting
The AI app never sees your password, and Impact's replies contain no personal data about you. We keep a short record of each request (time, app, kind of request and number of results), never the contents. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
To disconnect, open the Impact web app, go to your account page and choose Disconnect next to the app under AI apps. It stops straight away. You can also remove the connector in the AI app's own settings.
